Grey Blending
Did you know there’s more than one way to blend greys? These are my recommended options, each with a different level of maintenance.
Dimension Only
Distract the eye with strategically placed ribbons of color that contour your face and accentuate your hair texture and cut. No base color is used which means the greys between the highlights/balayage/lowlights won’t be covered or blended but your regrowth will be as soft as possible with no harsh line of demarcation. This is the lowest-maintenance option!
What to Book: Full Dimension + Add-On Haircut
Maintenance: Refresh Dimension or Partial Highlight every 12-16 weeks
All-Over Color Only
Soften your greys and maintain your natural depth and dimension with a semi-translucent color all-over from roots to ends. The glossy color will soften slightly between applications, giving you a blurred line of demarcation (compared to a distinct line of demarcation with opaque grey coverage).
What to Book: All-Over Color + Add-On Haircut
Maintenance: Root Retouch + Add-On Haircut every 6-8 weeks
Dimension + All-Over Color
A complete, high-end look that both softens your greys and adds dimensional color. If you are new to coloring your hair, I prefer to introduce this style with two separate services that can be done in one day or over your first two appointments.
First Appointment: All-Over Color + Add-On Haircut
Second Appointment: Full Dimension or Partial Dimension in 6-8 weeks (or same day as first appointment, if preferred)
Maintenance: Root Retouch or Dimensional Color + Add-On Root Retouch every 6-8 weeks
Lived-In Color
Whether you want a sunkissed balayage or bright yet natural highlights, getting Lived-In Color means you can have highlights that look good every day of the year while only coloring your hair every 3-6 months. While the color is always customized to you, it typically involves concentrated brightness around your face and ends, added dimension through your mids, and depth at your crown. This beachy look grows out seamlessly and always looks natural.
What to Book: Full Dimension + Add-On Haircut
Maintenance: your choice between a Haircut + Gloss Add-On / Face Frame + Root Shadow Refresh / Refresh Dimension / Partial Dimension every 3-6 months (depending on how blonde you want to be or how much time you want to invest)

Brunette Dimension
My approach to brunette dimension is to enhance your natural depth with ribbons of color. Keeping the highlights slightly off of your hairline and toning with shades that compliment your natural color are some of the techniques I use to keep you feeling like a brunette - my ultimate goal!
What to Book: Full Dimension + Add-On Haircut
Maintenance: Alternate Haircut + Add-On Gloss with a Refresh Dimension / Partial Dimension every 3 months
