My Approach to Hair Design

I specialize in timeless hair that looks and feels good every day of the year by creating dimensional hair that looks natural and grows out seamlessly and crafting modern yet laid-back haircuts that can be worn both naturally and styled.

Listening to my guests, using low-tox products, building trust, continuing my education, and finding solutions for your hair problems are always my top priority.

The services and looks I am most passionate about are

  • dimensional grey blending for someone who isn’t quite ready to fully embrace their greys but also doesn’t want to be in the salon every 4 weeks

  • sunkissed blondes and brunettes that look like you spent a summer at the beach

  • timeless haircuts with modern details for the person who enjoys trying new styles while not feeling too trendy

ABOUT ME

In 2019, I left my career in accounting to start the hair design program at Summit Salon Academy so I could work with my hands. What I didn’t know at the time was how fulfilling this path would be for me. I love this industry because of the people, the creativity, and the endless learning I get to do.

What makes me happiest is an abundance of time, relationships, and creativity. You can find me drinking coffee in the sun, cooking dinner with my family, and camping in the summer.

Color + Products I use

I fully stand behind my product lines and use them all personally. I even use my shampoos + conditioners on my 4-year-old! I believe that using high-quality products is an investment in our health, your hair, and our planet.

For hair color, I exclusively use Duomo Professional Hair Color (free from fragrance, ammonia, resorcinol, & PPD) and Oway Hnectar (free from ammonia, PPD, resorcinol, mineral oils, alcohol, and perfume).

For shampoo + styling products, I exclusively use Innersense, Afterworld Organics, and Oway.

The salon recycles up to 95% of the salon waste such as foil, hair clippings, gloves, or unused color through a partnership with Green Circle Salons.
